Jayne Burton Textile Designs

I am a textile designer and have a real passion for fabrics both vintage and new, working from my studio in Dorset.

 

I am particularly interested in using the ancient Japanese art of Shibori resist dyeing and making Cyanotypes, also printing fabric and paper using hand carved Indian wooden printing blocks. I design, dye, print and produce textiles and papers using natural Procion dyes, fabric and paints.
