Artists and crafters will tell you, there’s nothing better than selling face to face on a sunny day at summer fairs and markets, even a Christmas market, it’s a lot of fun. But when the day is windy and wet with few customers and stock is damaged it can be disheartening to say the least.  As a group of local artists and artisans we decided that a warm and dry indoor space, where work could be set up for people to browse would help a lot. We could ensure that customers would be confident that products were original, professional and local.

 

Our shop, Carousel, opened its doors on February 11th 2017.

In these Covid-19 days, when you enter the shop, you will find us set up for social distancing and wearing protective visors and gloves. We are required to follow certain rules to keep people safe, especially with some of the cosmetic products. So please bear with us, let us help you find what you need, and enjoy your visit!
